Old cat begs rescuers until they help her

There, a 15-year-old cat named Squishy was rescued from a life of misery along with her 17-year-old sister.

Squishy became very close to her rescuers and didn’t want them to leave. The younger sister was sent to the Kitten Adventure League because her previous owner could no longer care for her. The shelter’s founder, Karyn Poplin, helped them find a comfortable home to spend their golden years.

“When I hold her, she just smiles and purrs. I can go about my business. If I don’t hold her, she gets mad at me. If I completely ignore her, she sneaks in Get under my quilt or behind me, just to be close to me,” Karin said.

Karyn didn’t have any privacy with Squishy, so she brought a carrier and put the cat there so she could always have it with her while she did other things, and Squishy was fine with that.

Squishy weighs five pounds but has soft skin and is perfect. Karin, on the other hand, alternates between using a blanket and a sling, letting Squishy do whatever she wants, and nothing makes her happier than cuddling her mommy.
